What to see and do
At Concorde Classic we pride ourselves in ensuring the day is not completely car orientated and is designed for everyone. Working with local vendors, charities and members of the public we aim to bring fun for the whole family.
This year we have ’South Coast Cop Cars’ with 7 American cop cars.
We also have an American NASCAR coming which will start up at 11.30am and 2.30pm

We will be running a raffle for a ride out during the show in a Special Super Car. Tickets will be £2 each and we will have two draws, one at 12pm for ride out at 12.30pm and another at 3pm for ride out at 3.30pm
During the show you can purchase raffle tickets for the Naomi House stand in the Traders Marquee for a vast array of prizes. Draw will take place at 3.30pm

Scalextric Party
This year we have Scaletrix Party attending with a large Scalextric track for you to set your fastest time around the track. The winner with the fastest time will win a prize
The Sporting Bears are a club of car enthusiasts whose sole objective is to have fun using their cars whilst raising money for Childrens charities. We raise money through our Dream Rides event where we offer rides in our cars to the general public for a minimum donation to the charity we are supporting for each event, every penny raised goes to charity.
The concept is simple, we are able to offer the public the opportunity to experience their dream car by taking them out on a 10 mile passenger ride. Over the 22 years the Sporting Bears have been fundraising we have raised a massive £850,000 for our charities.
Our members have all sorts of cars, classic, sports, exotic or ultimate to provide the widest ability to satisfy the Dreams that the general public seek to enjoy.
Dream Rides is a unique and exciting passenger ride experience where in return for a minimum donation to UK children's charities we take you out for a 10 mile or 20 minute passenger ride in the car of your dreams!
We will be running a raffle of £2 per ticket for your chance to have a ride out in a Super car at the show. The raffles will be drawn at 12pm and 3pm and the ride must be taken during the show times.
South Coast Cop Cars were originally formed in 2021. The group was formed primarily to undertake charity work, with national groups such as Sporting Bears, as well as locally known charities. It is a great opportunity to introduce the younger generation to law enforcement by use of the American Cop Cars, which are familiar to them from television and video games.
We now have nearly 17 vehicles in our group and over 900 followers throughout the UK, USA and the rest of the world. All of our vehicles have seen service, for varying lengths of time, before being retired. You will see a range of equipment in the vehicles that would have been in standard use in the USA, such as computer systems, radios, sirens, radar etc. These are normally cared for within the group, with good knowledge from other members.
The range of vehicles vary from the 1970’s to currently used law enforcement vehicles. Some earlier models are Plymouth Fury’s and Ford Crown Victorias, the later of which are still in service today. The more modern vehicles are Dodge Chargers, Ford Explorers and Chevrolet Impalas. A couple of members also own Kawasaki CHIPS motorcycles. Mechanically, these vehicles had been very well looked after whilst in service and are now maintained by regional American car specialists. Parts, although not readily available in this country, can be obtained directly from America, as all of the vehicles are still listed and the parts can normally be shipped within a few days.
